Where do you guys get your prime lenses (Nikon)?

I'm mainly looking for Nikkor. I searched B&H but they don't seem to have too much of a selection. Either that or it's very expensive.

I'm looking to spend around $200 - 300. What do you guys suggest and from where?

I bought our Nikon primes from keh.com and adorama.com.

I've had good luck buying them off ebay. I know a lot of people on here might refrain from going that route. But I got some good deals on lenses from there, and haven't had any problems with them.

I got a 24mm and a 50mm for under $200 each

I bought 2 from B& H used dept they tend to list used lenses in batches so you have to check back often and the other two from ebay. I know that most people advise against Ebay but I got 2 great deals on great lenses.

I've ordered from both KEH and from the used department of Adorama, but the best deal I got was at a local camera shop in a small town, where I got a near-mint 28mm f/2.8 AI lens for about $40. I'm not sure why... I guess they were unaware that they could have sold the thing on ebay for 3-4 times that. This is just to say that if you're not in a hurry, you might be able to find some good deals by checking around locally.

craigslist, ebay...just protect yourself with paypal. bought 4lens off ebay, everyone of them was fine. bought one of craigslist amazing deal. did another from craigslist and lady, yes lady, never sent me the product, but paypal backed me up, though it took some persuasion.
