Anyone scanning 35mm of MF film? If so, what are you using and do you like it?

I'm using the Epson V500 flatbed (got it for about $200 from Epson's site). I scan 6x6 and 6x7, as well as the occasional 35mm. It works great and the resolution is more than enough. It also supports 48 bit color, so you get lots of information. There are occasional quirks, for example, Holga shots sometimes confuse the automatic image separating feature, but you can always work around them by simply scanning a strip of negatives and breaking them up yourself in Photoshop.

I've been looking at the same one. Glad to hear a positive review.
How high of a DPI setting do you typically scan your 35mm stuff? I'd love to see some examples of either positive or negative scans.
Thanks!

Are you scanning new or old film? I have absolutely no discipline, so I found that having a lab process and scan the film gave me much better results - cleaner negs, no fingerprints, no warping, etc. Of course this only applies to pro labs, not your corner CVS.

It's mostly just for fun at the moment. I just started developing my own B&W stuff, and I don't have a way to share it with the online world. :)

I scan 800 DPI for the medium format stuff. It's plenty big but doesn't take forever to do. You can see some scans on my Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/acityofindustry All film stuff was scanned with the V500. Hope that helps!
