How would you like prizes assigned?

Just want to throw this out there to see if there is a strong consensus one way or the other...

Wondering if you would like me to assign prize as I largely have in the past, or if you would like the opportunity to let 1st place pick one prize, then 2nd place pick one prize, then 3rd place. And, then likely assign the rest of the prizes as I have in the past.

My only intention is trying to make sure that you guys get prizes that you can use, but I would want to be up front about it so as not to suggest any kind of favoritism or shadiness.

Anyways, just want to see if there is a strong preference.

Let them pick. You might really need one of the other prizes.

It seems to me that allowing the winners to choose their prize works out best as someone might get something assigned to them that they either have no use for, or cannot use. Then again, the last winner to choose, depending on the amount of prizes of course, might still have something they can't use. That's my vote, though. It seems to be the best solution if you decide not to have the fest coordinators/mods choose.
