Hey guys,
I'm getting a Panasonic HMC 150 and I want to see what you guys think about my 35 setup.

This is my proposed plan:
HMC150 w/ Letus Extreme on Nikon Primes (how much better are Zeiss primes?)

I love to go handheld, and I'm not concerned about the weight. I just want a better experience than I have had with the Brevis. I shot on an HVX w/ Brevis adapter on Nikon primes. The rig was crappy and super shaky— and the motor died on me/ was finnicky throughout the production. It got to the point where I had to put my ear to the adapter before every take to make sure it was running!

Anyways, what do you guys think about this setup? Anyone have any vimeo footy?

Thanks,
Max

What rail? The rail plays a huge role. Expensive system like Zacuto and Letus allows you to finely balanced your rig and keep its profile low while being fully adjustable. For handheld you need a shouldermount system for sure. Any adapter system is going to be shaky unless it's on your shoulder and it's correctly balanced.

I'd be on the Letus rails for sure.

Do you have any experience shooting on an adapter with the HMC150?

I use my Extreme with an XH-A1, not an HMC150. Get the Letus V2 Rail, it's much better than V1.
