This idea has probably been rejected but I cant find it on any forums.
I'm not a very knowledgable in optics so I'm hoping someone who is can enlighten me.
Would it be possible to use a dove prism as the gg/focus screen if the side of the prism facing the lens was frosted? This way the image reaching the camera was the right way up.
Has anyone tried this or know what the resulting image would look like? Would the image be warped, dark, cloudy?
