Last night, I started a campaign for people to 'vote for me' for our religious organizations Bishop (top office). The thing is, it's really just a joke. The facebook group name is "Alec for Bishop in 2041" because I'll finally be old enough come 2041.

So I decided to make a few shirts on cafepress about my "campaign". If they don't sell, no loss. If they do, I could give the profits to a NFP group trying to reach those in Sudan. Well, I sold 5 shirts last night, and I couldn't believe it. So all day I've been trying to think of new stuff. I thought I had a great "dumb" one with a picture of me with a popped collar and the slogan "Keepin' the 'hip' in Bishop" ... then I realized after spending a while in photoshop that ... "Oh man, there is no 'hip' in Bishop ... unless you rearrange the letters. It's not as funny." So I tried some other things, but nothing works for me.

So I'm coming to you. This is where your brain comes in to help me out. My brain has given up for the night. I really appreciate it!

*hopefully this doesn't get banned, as campaigns are political, and the organization is a religious one ... double whammy*

I think "Keepin' the 'hip' in Bishop" is hilarious especially because there isn't actually a hip in Bishop.

Can I put our NFP's (http://www.isara.org) name in the hat? We don't do work in the Sudan but we can guarantee 100% of every penny will go to projects to help the less fortunate in developing countries.

Good luck!

I like the "keepin the Hip" thing, it's made funner because there is no hip in it. When I read that sentence, I didn't notice the spelling discrepency, and I pronounce the "O" in as an "I" anyway.

"Keeping the blank in blank--Charles Nelson Reilly?"

I didn't even know what this meant. I had to wikipedia it (is that a verb?). Pretty neat.

Posted my first few "campaign" (that's a loose term) videos on facebook:

(part of the group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=53698883206 ... I'm not sure if you have to be a group member to view videos. I'm not very Facebook savvy).
