battery mount question

Is the mount on the HPX300 an AB gold mount or v-mount?

AB Gold Mount. If you're currently using V-Mount Batts, you can get an adapter.

I believe you need both an adapter bracket and a v mount that ADAPTS 3-STUD MNT TO V-MOUNT

We use the IDX adapter -

and it's all we needed for our HPX500.

ya that adapter is solid. i have one on my 500. plus it leaves the door open for both battery options. much better choice than changing the plate imho.
