Our biggest single prize donation to date comes from ABEL CINE. They are donating a MOVIEtube ST valued at approximately $8,000.00 USD

A huge thanks to them for coming in with this prize donation...

Gonna do things a little differently this time....
Gonna announce the prizes over the next week or so as I'm still lining them up. We'll see how it goes, but I've got a few very nice ones already.... and as has become a trend of late, some brand new products that'll be coming to the market for the first time...
Start small and build up :)
Going to give away 10 more copies of Stu's Book again. Details here:
http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=150930

Another prize is from Cinevate. They've been supporting the fests in force since they came on board as sponsors of DVXuser. They always have some nice prizes to give and this fest is no exception. Cinevate is donating a new product this time as well... The "Pegasus 100cm Carbon System":

Also, Tim from IndiFocus has a brand new product coming out. So new infact that there is not yet a picture available :) But, it sounds really cool. IndiFocus is donating a RemoteFollowFocus valued at approximately 800 dollars:
"The indiFocusPro is a wired remote control follow focus that uses S-Video cables, that can go up to 250 feet, and comes with a 25' and 6' cable (think really long whip for use on a dolly). The motor is capable of turning the stiffest of 35mm SLR lenses with over 100oz/inch of torque. Uses a 9v battery and one high capacity battery and charger are included. Weighs 17oz, and is backwards compatible with any indiFOCUSpro Follow Focus as they share the same extension bracket and rod mount.

Jason Ramsey

(book) not sure yet... I'll probably give away at least some at random. I like being able to give at least something to as many people as possible who took the time to make and enter a film for the fest.
Going to post another prize here in a few....

Will update the list Friday with at least 3 more additions. Still working on some more beyond that as well.
Sponsors are coming through pretty nicely considering the state of things. Gonna reach into my bag of contacts and see if we can't sweeten things up all the way up until the end. So, consider the list open until the winners are announced.
Stay tuned.

But, I'm not going to tell you what it is yet.
Just know that our friends at Abel Cine are donating one prize valued at...... wait for it..... 8,000 dollars....
$8,000.00 dollars!?!
