Tonight was my first test shoot with my 5D (http://vimeo.com/3418490). I decided to shoot at the Santa Monica pier for the variety of coverage.
Workflow:
MPEG Streamclip to ProRes - (Smoothcam filter on some shots) - Export to 720p30 HDV. No color correction.

Looks colorful, I was just in Venice last week. I am thinking of getting one. I may shoot a music video on one this week somewhere in LA. Good stuff.

Looked ok to me, but you can definitely see a bit of the smoothcam going on in there. Too bad you couldn't stick with the tripod. I wonder if you could get away with a SteadyTracker or Glidecam?
I am not a big fan of long telephoto shots with this camera...ESPECIALLY not handheld...unless the motion is fairly sedate. In fact, I don't think handheld looks ok with this camera pretty much at any focal length unless you have a decent method of stabilization. It just isn't worth the rolling shutter aggravations.
