Is it just me or does the rr2 ground glass on the sgblade look better and more filmic than the sgpro rev3? It seems to have more detail in the out of focus area. It looks like the old red rock gg glass without the short comings like vingnetting and soft edges.
I know its been said that this is the sgpro gg for the blade, but why does it look so much cleaner and organic?

It is exactly the same material/diffuser, only milled smaller for the blade.

Vignetting and soft edges is not due to the gg reem12.
Not taking the 35mm lens into consideration and focusing on the adapter intself, its actually the achromat design and its placement in relation to the GG and to the video cam lens that provides even e2e sharpness and to minimal vignette.
Wayne's achromat on the sgpro is well thought of design and the distinct "tube" extension on the sgpro made sure that you got optimum quality from the sgpro than from the others.
Its a different situation with the adapter makers now since they've come out with new designs.
