Just wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a good lens for 35mm adapters? I would be using it with my sgpro + dvx100.

You are best served looking for lenses ideally at f1.2-1.8 or at least f2.8 that's constant aperture. unlike this one that varies from 4 to 5.6 depending on zoom position. Either way 4 or 5.6 is not ideal for your needs.
