I was going to shoot some timelapse that will take a few days to do (a very slow process sped up very fast). Can I use my adapter to shoot the timelapse? I have a Breavis. I am sure that the battery would die before the timelapse is finished (which would stop the ground glass from vibrating). Can I leave the Breavis plugged in or is the AC power supply strictly for charging?
Thanks!

I would recommend using static adapter

Is that just because it would be too much wear and tear to let the adapter keep running that long or do you think that the power supply is only for charging? I am guessing both. I think I will just shoot timelapse with an adapter. Maybe I can use macro to get close up shots. Thanks!

A time lapse that long would be easier to do with a DSLR.

I am not sure I entirely see the point using an adapter with a time lapse. DOF is not something you usually want, or at least an extremely shallow one anyway. Plus, depending where you are shooting, with the adapter you are going to have to possibly worry about the constantly changing sunlight which will kill your image since normally you want auto iris on for that, then again I don't know your setup.

Yeah a DSLR would be best.
