If you have a trailer, post it to this thread so we can have a compilation of trailers.

Please keep in mind that the rules forbid any actual footage used in the final films from being used in trailers. However if you have created content specifically for a trailer, then it's fair game. Make sure to read the rules first, and if you have any doubts about your trailer, ask the mods first.

When embedding use only the numbers and letters at the end of the motionbox link. If you want your trailer to show up on the thread, embedded, then using Motionbox is the only way to go.

(take out the spaces in the "movie" tags for it to work. the tag doesn;t display if i print it properly.)

Jason just posted this clarification of the rules for trailers. PLEASE READ IT:

T-shirts and MUGS (no beer koozies sorry) will be available shortly along with the cute Ewok tie-in we have going on. We considered putting in some puppies so we could have a soft animal tie in, but they were too expensive. :P

This of course is all a joke...

I have to back out of making a trailer in this round. I'm using almost all my shots in my short film and whatever shots were left over after my final edit are unusable for a trailer. I'll keep the idea in mind for the next Fest.

Added the "Manic" teaser to the thread. looks intense. plays here without copy protection

for the "MANIC" trailer should i just do the same thing??

well my original idea for this thread was to keep all of the trailers together and link each one back to the original thread. makes it easier for people to see all of the trailers at one and then to click into the thread if they want more info. instead of having to track down 20 individual threads that may be scattered all over the place.

you can do the same thing for yours as well as in the thread for manic as i did here. seems to play fine.

Anybody else with a trailer?

have to talk to the editor but there maybe some material appropriate for a teaser.

haha! we have about 2 and half hours of dailies, i think. and there is one shot in particular that i don't think we're using. that would make for a nice tease.

I've got a trailer but motionbox has been optimizing it for a day now ... so I don't know whats up with that. If it ever finishes I'll be sure to post it.

motionbox is irritating. they do some pretty serious compression to your audio too.

anyway, turns out that shot i was hoping to build a teaser with, is now in the film. so no teaser...

Hey Puckthemad is there any way you can take off my teaser, there's been some conflict with the actual film.

You can always post the trailer after the deadline is up and viewing is open. I think that is allowed.

Ahh, can you put my teaser off?

Sorry but I had some problems with my opening scene and need tu use some of the teaser now.

Thanks. (errr - hope itīs not too late for that)

Frank, your trailer is off.

I'm wondering, did anyone actually read the warning at the top of this thread, or the rules for that matter? Trailers are useful and sometimes fun to cut, but only if you've planned for pre-festival exposure, which means no footage from the films.

After viewing is open, is there any problem using the trailers which do include footage? If a Moderator can chime in, right about now would be great...

Frank you'll have to edit your own post and delete the trailer from it, I can only do it for my own postings.
