Hi everyone. I'm starting a small production company with some friends from school and I was hoping to get some feedback on our demo reel. The logo in the beginning needs to be replaced but other than that, we're not sure about title design, music, etc.

Ideally our client base will be music videos and commercials but we're sort of taking what we can get get at this point.

Short and sweet, anyway. I think it's solid. At least if you have a reel that's less than a minute that'll be good for the Website, so you don't have to ask clients to spend a ton of time if they don't want.
My only concern, and I'm not sure how to say this in a way that doesn't sound a bit blunt, is there are a lot of shots that just don't "wow" me, I mean for a one-minute reel I wish my reaction was, "Wow, this is some amazing work," but instead it's more like, "Well, I'm sure the full projects are good." There is a shot where the sun is coming up on the streets, that's a beautiful shot. I know it's not a DP reel, but at the same time I feel like there are some shots that just don't look that great. The two cowboys sitting on the bed, for instance, haha. Some of the other shots look more amateur-ish than I think you'd want to go for, like the lighting isn't very good, so I'd be thinking ok, well I might hire these guys to do simple work but I might not expect highly polished results.
