Shot with two HPX500s and two HVX200s. Can you tell the difference?

Wide shots = HPX's, inserts = HVX's?
What were your settings?

That was pretty much it; center-wide and right-CU were HPX. left insert and XCU HVX. Matt Workman, the DP, set the scene settings, but it was nothing elaborate. Shot in 720p24pn.

Well done!

And I like the band too! Love when that lead guitar fires up...

Beavis: Yeah, Kick it! Kick it!

Thanks; yeah, they weren't bad. It was a private show with lots of major music execs in the audience.

Was the audio feed from the board into one of the cameras? How did you sync the four cameras?

Were the HPX's using HD or SD lenses?

Nice job. Live shoots are tough. I'm supposed to do one the end of March. Don't kow if I'll be brave enough to post it!

Thanks. We patched the audio straight from the board into a laptop using a preamp. That actually presented some problems because a room mix from the board will sound a bit hollow, so you'll want to capture from the cameras (or ideally a good room mic) as well and mix the two in post. The HPX's were using HD lenses.

HPX is noticably sharper. You right away see when HPX is on
