Workstation

Hi guys!

I'm in the process of saving up for my next purchase, a workstation for editing and effects work.

I've always been a diy guy with the computer thing, I bought the parts and then assembled it. But this time I want to try buying an everything in the box pc, although I'm open to buying tha parts and doing it myself....

Well my actual setup is an AMD athlon 64x2 dual 3800+ with 3gb of ram memory. the graphic card is a NVIDIA geforce 7300 LE (not enough for after efects and other editing work...at least for me..). The hard disks are ok...

I've been looking to change my computer for one year, but before doing that I bought the hmc151 (another reason to change my computer due to the need of a powerful machine ot edit using adobe PP cs4).

Now the question is which workstation do you think that best suits my needs or what do you use (processor, ram, operating system, graphic cards.....).

My budget is around 1500-2000€.......

Well if anyone can answer it would be great!

Get an i7 ,intel's new cpu ,machine and everthing you need will be there .
Or you can read the specs out of these machines/try newegg and HP .

I say this everytime, get two hard drives, they are far the slowest part of any moderm machine
