I thought it might be nice to have people post links to nothing but particle animation work of their own, all in one thread. Other links would also be nice but make sure to credit people properly.
Of course work posted doesn't have to be only particles, but it must include some.
Please include an explanation of the work, or at least the software used.

Well if e-on would implement legit particle support into Vue, then I'd have tons to show you :P.

ok I'll go first, this is a shot from my Thesis project.

the background plate and the Gs element were shot with an hvx200
the car is a 3d model in maya, it and the bullet holes are textured in renderman, and light in maya, the matchmove was done in match mover.
the sparks, were maya particles, the dust was a combo of maya partcles and fluids.
the explotion is maya fluids, the fire is fluids and particles,
the smoke that darkens the back ground after the explosion is maya particles as well, sprites.
the key was shake, it actually isn't finaled yet, still needs some work. comp was also done in shake.
