Right now I am looking at a couple different options:

Lowepro CompuTrekker Plus AW
$189

ThinkTank Streetwalker Pro
$159

Or the CineBags CB-25 Revolution Backpack
$175

I know the HVX will fit in the Cinebag, but does anyone know if it will fit in the others?

Any reviews?

Thanks

Definitely go with the Kata-207, I originally used the Cinebag but I needed the extra space for my lens adapter and additional gear. Cineabag is good if your just taking the camera.

Looks great but its out of my price range. Anyone else have an opinion?

Its a pretty lame bag, but if you go into a Ritz Camera, there is a large sized Quantaray bag thats like 79.99, it holds the HVX by itself, along with all the charger cords, as well as about 5 big 5400mAh batteries, filters, and then has some more space on the back end for laptops....

It's cheap, but I've been using it for almost a year, with no problems.

But I also carry around it attached to a Letus Ultimate in a duffel bag with half my clothing wardrobe as padding...so I wouldn't trust me too much...

Good luck!

B&H has a nice petrol backpack that's about 150. Works well for my HVX.

The petrol line of bags is pretty good. I own the older PCBP 1 that fits my HVX, Powerbook 15", cards, 3 batteries, charger, on camera LED light, and wireless mic system pretty nicely.

They have larger ones but with a 1 I have never had a problem bringing it on a plane.

The Genus GEN1000 is extremely well constructed and thought out, but its quite a bit more expensive than its petrol counterparts.

I am the male talent BTW :D

Anyway we tested the R-106 (in the video at about 2:15) and it fits the HVX perfectly + a mattebox, several filters, charger, batteries plus plus plus. I downsized considerably when I went from my old pack to this one.

I think the Kata R-106 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?ci=0&shs=kata+r-106&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=jsp%2Fproductlist.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&Go=submit) is an amazing backpack for the HVX-200. Since I got mine I have never regretted it. I never use my hard-sided case anymore. I will admit, the bag can be quite heavy when you include the laptop, but without the laptop it's actually not too bad. The straps and harness adjust to make it quite comfortable.

When I was shopping around for a backpack I always wished I could see images of the bag loaded, with details of what was in each pocket, so I could get a better grasp of how much the bag would hold for me. As a result I've taken some pictures of my bag as it is right now, with a list of what is in it.

And, to be honest, I could easily fit a few more things in there. I've had no problem adding the power supply and mouse for my laptop, and could jam in more P2 cards and batteries if need be.

I am real happy with my Kata R-106... I just grab it, sling it over my shoulder... and away I go. Well worth the money.

Wow.... nice video and nice bag.... might have to get one.

But is the tripod really a "Manfroto 756XB and 700RC2 head"?
