Just shot a short piece in 720P 30P. Keying footage in AE and trying to render for vimeo. Settings are H.264, 22.050 kHz 16 bit mono, 960x720. Trying to render and getting an error "mismatch between output module settings and transcode settings." Can someone offer advice to what I'm doing wrong?

thx
Steven

always when rendering out of after effect use the animation codec. then do any sort of web compressing with an application thats meant for that, such as mpeg stream clip, which is what i use for compressing for vimeo.

Thanks for the workaround but I'm hoping someone can actually step in with an answer why this is happening in AE. Any takers?

Seems to be a thread similar to this over at the cow:

http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/950407

"Select Edit > Export Settings.

The Export Settings dialog box appears. This dialog box lets you perform the following actions:

Specify alternate encoding settings to deliver video for different bandwidths and applications.

Crop and resize the video clip to alter its dimensions."

Also which version of AE are you using and on what platform???

Cheers

CS3, Windows XP.

Thx for the tip, I'll check it out.

I'd render in full res and export to vimeo in something else.
