tried to go with a comedy this time around! We had an actor, lost him. We had crew, lost them. Tried to shoot it anyways, lost it. I think that the whole theme of LOSS was just to much for me. I gotta stop taking things so literally.... (badum chhsshhh)

Clarkage is baaaaaaaaaack! Awesome dude. Can't wait to see what you come up with. You've grown a lot over the past couple of fests and this time you're going with a pro actor.

Don't forget to upload your poster to the facebook page

remember, you can now do outside promotion, so go nuts with it.

Yippee! A comedy. I need a good laugh. One thing though, you better hurry up, you are running out of time. March will be around the corner before you know it.

Thanks everyone! It feels good to be back! =)

And I know we are starting production this weekend and we dont even have a finished script all the way! This will be interesting! Luckily we have a very talented writer on the job taking over that portion of it right now because I am WAY to slow of a writer.

Well, half my crew bailed and the actor is stuck in LA because of rain....

Now, my crew of 2 people will be showing up at my equipment loaded house any minute. We have basically just today to shoot this whole thing. And I dont think it could get any worse. I actually broke down and just gave up on the whole thing, but u know what? I have put way to much time, energy and money into this to let it fall. So I'm going to be the one in the fat suit!

LETS DO THIS! This is for all of you out there who have had this happen to you. For all the guys who stay up all night the night before a shoot then who get a phone call saying the actor cant come. For all those filmmakers who think they cant do it cuz of lack of crew! I am going to prove all that wrong! I hope this is inspiration for those of you not in the fest to be in the fest. Because it doesn't matter who you are, the camera you have, or if u have a budget or not. I think that this film is going to show not only myself but hopefully others that anything is possible!

haha sorry to totally shoot down the above comment. but.... I am sorry to say that this project will most likely not be finished. The only problem with not having a full crew, is that it takes longer to do everything. And, I dont have anymore time to shoot this. So, say goodbye to this entry. Man, It really sucks. This will be my first time dropping out of a fest.... =( Sorry guys.... goodluck to the rest of you! I can't wait to see what you have done!

And reality kicks in :) Stupid reality...

You should finish this though! Even if it isn't in time for the lossfest deadline - no need to rush yourself - wait til everything's pretty solid and then go for it. Otherwise what are you gonna use the fat suit for? Halloween's not for ages! :)

Haha, you got me all inspired, and then I turned the page and saw you gave up.

But I understand. If not for a series of fortunate events, I probably would have had to pull the plug on my film.

Your situation sounds all too familiar to me. You did the best and most difficult thing possible - pull the plug on something you have a strong commitment to complete. It would be horrible to find yourself reduced to doing shadow puppets of your scenes.

I know.... I feel like such a hypocrite now! haha But, if there is one thing this fest has taught me it is that preparing for these films is key. I felt like I kinda just slipped through this one and waited til the last minute. So when It came to the shooting day it felt like I was in a 24 hour film fest not one that gives you 2 months. Which totally my fault. I really look forward to the next fest though. My time of laziness is up!!
