hv20 upload problems

Hey,
So I'm having trouble uploading HDV footage from my HV20 into FCP. I mainly use it as a tape deck for my xha1, but all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore.
The weird part about it is that I can upload standard def footage but not HD. I've tried clips from my xha1 and straight HV20 footage and neither works. I've been resorting to using my XHA1 to upload. Can anyone help me out? I'm assuming it's an in camera problem because my upload presets work with the a1 but not the hv20...

Just to specify, this is 1080i60 footage.

Make sure DV lock is off.

Yes, check the Playback settings for output (when switch is set to playback). Once I configured playback for HDV only, and I couldn't capture DV format via firewire.
