Nevermind..
Basically I need this for one month:
-Place to stay
-Must have internet, possible a phone line
-3 bedroom
-Under 2 grand in rent for the one month stay
-Near the beach
-Either in Newport, Huntington, Dana point
Help me guys!

You're Canadian right? Last time I went to the San Diego hostels, you guys were pretty cheap. Sure man. Go stay there.

In all seriousness... your mom is booking you a hostel for $26 a night? Not going to draw any direct comparisons, but I would have had to hide the fact I was going to stay at a hostel from my mom.
I think 26$ in Cali is really cheap. I've never looked into a hostel in America... are they like YMCA's? Or do those not exist anymore?

BTW, under two grand for one month is more then most of us spend for our rent!

It be cool to hear what everyone pays for rent.
I lucked out and found a place about 4 years ago downtown Vancouver for 650.00 a month, rent hasn't raised a penny. Great landlords.
I dunno if I'd want to chill in a 26$ a night hostel in San Diego, but thats just me.

No, the hostel route is now out of the question..
Looking now at a place in huntington for 40 bucks a night at some motel!
