Is it possible when done with a film and going to export it, to export it back to your camera on a Mini DV tape?

Yup. Hit Control M to "Write to Video". Read up on it it the manual, but it's pretty simple.

you'll definitely want to leave extra time for this. As a general rule, if you connect your camcorder and can see your edited video in the camcorders LCD, you're good for recording onto the miniDV tape.
and i second jamesnw's thought: read into the manual. it may be called "print to tape", "write to video" or even something else.
