I can get a new xha1 for $2900, or a new xha1s for $3300. Is it worth the added cost of $400 for the xha1s in terms of features and resale down the road? I do not think I would be using the xha1s feature of direct recording to external hard drive, because I think the external hard drive to do that costs $2000 which does not make it worth doing that for me.
