Here's a little something I thought was pretty cool. It's called "Bokeh" from Alien Skin. It pretty much lets you add bokeh to a photo in Photoshop. I'm just using the trial because it's $200, but just thought I'd share. I'm sure a lot of you have already heard of this.

That's really nice - I'll try it out for sure and post my results.

Does it have different lenses etc or is it just a standard background blur?

Nice. I was just looking at a thread in the photoshop section that was talking about using photoshop for post work with video. For a static shot with not too much movement, I bet this could work.

Thanks for sharing - I do photography too, so this is a great plug-in

You have to mask your "foreground" right?

What else does it for 200 bucks but bluring?

Edit: O.K. I saw the website - does a lot more.

It does have a lot of different options for lenses which is also pretty cool.

I found the best way to make it look nice is to cut the foreground into a new layer, then use the background erase tool to remove the white area from the cut photo. If you don't use the background erase tool, the plugin will blur the white and your foreground will have this silly white glow to it.
