Hey I have been a premiere guy for a long time and now I got a g5 powermac and FCP5. I had my workflow all set up for my dvx 24pa. I would shoot 24pa, edit on a 24 frame timeline and it was as simple as that. Is final cut pro 5 any different? Thanks for the help. :dankk2:

Yes... not that simple.
Look up 24pA and Advanced Cadence removal capture and edit in the manual. After you read those sections, come back. Also, you might want to look at the stickies here on THIS page for some help too.
I'm not ignoring you - this question comes up a lot. But before we help you you need to have some basic understanding of what you are about to do. Ok?
