Wow - by far one of the best 170 pieces (or any camera) I've seen. Absolutely, stunningly beautiful. I was up on the shore of Lake Michigan back in '93 during one of their severe winters and couldn't believe the ice build up around the shores.

About 2 years back there were 10 foot ice walls about 30 minutes from me, never made it up to shoot them though. I love living on this lake, there's always something new to shoot if you look hard enough.

Wow, that was amazing! You must have skills since you made that ice come alive.

Quick question. Does the HPX170 shoot in that aspect ratio, or did you achieve that by letter-boxing in postproduction?

170 shoots 16:9 exclusively anything different is done in post

Really nice. Surprised by the latitude of exposure. Looks like you nailed it on just about every shot. Good job.

Wonderful shots, great music. Can I ask what the notes above means, I am 3 days new to the 170, and would like to know what settings you pros use. I understand the cine v, just didn't get the zeroed out and master ped. TIA.

By zeroed out I mean, I had my scene file settings at zero (detail, coring, v detail, etc). My master pedestal was set to -12.
