Fisheye Stuck On HVX

I dont know what happend but my century optics .55x bayo mount fisheye got stuck on my hvx.
i dont want to force it and break something
has this happend to anyone else
do u guys have any ideas how to fix this

I keep one of these just in case the UV filter gets stuck. Usually only takes a little nudge. Put some cloth on the jaws so you don't scratch anything.

Another suggestion is to cool the unit off by putting it either outside (if you're in a wintery climate) or in the fridge for 5 mins (not longer). What will happen is that both the camera and the mount will contract and you should be able to remove it. I tried this in the past and it worked like a charm when a step down ring was stuck to my HVX.

That oil filter thing looks promising. I had to use very large channel locks once to remove a stuck step down ring. Make sure you put some rubber or something over the lens to protect it form the jaws. At least with the wide adapter you'll get a bigger bite than I got on the ring. Good luck!
