Has anyone found where to source component cables that have that whacky connector on one end that fits in the HPX170? I use SDI out to my monitor but there are occasions which I'd like to have one with the factory connectors (only with a longer cable) to hook up to HDTV.
The ones I had for my HVX200 didn't fit.
Thanks.

well, a much easier solution to your problem would be to just connect the Component cable that came with your HPX (the short one with the weird connector at the end) and then get 3 RCA turnaround adapters (or barrels) and then just connect the length of component cable that you need.

That's a good idea, thanks. I just, given past experience with the cable that came with my HVX, would like to have an extra cable anyhow--in case the one I have lays down (as many did that came with the HVX). Those were available third-party, costly but you could find them . . . had hoped someone had already run 'em down . . . I haven't found any yet.
It's be kind of a drag not to have an extra if I was about to show footage to a client and my one & only failed.
