Kick The Moon

Well, this is my first time posting on one of these so... where to start.
This film is called Kick The Moon, like my screen name.

The film takes place in context of a Taekwondo Tournament. Flashbacks will reveal the plight of the main character, how he got to where he is, in the final round of the World Taekwondo Championship. Where we think he's achieving some , we discover, through flashbacks, that this is not the victory that we so thought in the beginning of the story, but a way to bring closure to something that he has lost, somewhere deep in his past.

i chose the name not because it was necessarily a taekwondo move but it kind of illustrates the nature of the movie.

We finish shooting tomorrow and saturday. *pray for snow

Principle Editing begins tuesday. We had some rough spots in our first day of shooting, but that's to be expected. We hope tomorrow runs smoothly. Also, anyone know how to do fake blood? The kind that runs but isn't too watery?

Tonight we finish the tournament scenes and tomorrow we begin shooting the alley and training montage sequences. Being actor and director in the movie has turned out to be a way tougher role than I expected, although I had known there would be alot of work involved. The Cast and Crew will reconvene tonight to finish up and touch up those scenes and then we'll be almost done! Principle editing can begin as soon as we wrap shooting.

so i'm sorry, but we just haven't had the time to finish this film, so we're dropping out. As of yesterday, we talked to our crew, and we decided for the better of the film, we're going to take more time to continue cutting, and editing and move on to other film festivals. Thanks, all, for the support, but it looks like we're cutting and running.
