How difficult is focusing?

I know had to use an HD screen (not the 7 inch marshall) but a genuine HD screen to focus with my XLH1 and Redrock... I'm wondering how difficult it is to focus with the LCD on the Mark II?

If you hook up an external LCD what resolution do you get? (via AV out or HDMI?)

The sharpest and clearest LCD screen I have ever seen, others have said the same, very very good, with two clicks of the magnifying glass button you are looking at a X10 magnification (of the sensor not the screen!) - getting the image pin sharp is very easy.

I have many complaints about the 5D2, but the LCD/ease of focusing is one of it's strong points.
