Funny film stories

Hey all,

I am working on a rather exhaustive screenwriting book that is slowly becoming a filmmaker's guide as well.

Every fest there are some pretty unbelievable stories bubbling up (still think ZaZa's takes the cake - to this day I can't get that image out of my mind) and I would love to have a chapter dedicated to these anecdotes. Please send me you stories and let me filter through them. You can provide a thread link if you have one and I'll gather up the info.

Funny stories, disasters, hair-pulling, actors from hell and directors from someplace even deeper, failing rental equipment, bad pizza, alcohol related errors, s.w.a.t., etc ...

While shooting the Puppeteer for lossfest. We ordered Pizza from Papa Johns and it was taking a long time. My wife gets a phone call from them saying the driver was scared to come in because he saw a S.W.A.T team with guns running inside. My wife told them we were shooting a movie and the driver came back.

Another: While shooting my first feature length film, We had to shoot a sex scene. The actors involved knew in advance that their was no nudity. But Chris, The lead in the film wanted the girl to get naked. I knew nothing about this. So he told the young lady that I changed the script around and it required her to be completely naked. So we are setting up the bedroom and I turn Around and she is standing in the room Slap-ass naked. and Chris is lying on the bed with this evil grin on his face. I just could not stop laughing. I made her put on her bra and panties and we shot the scene.

Alex, when I have time, probably earlier next week or this weekend I can put together a couple ones and send them to you. Although, some are not necessarily funny except for the fact that I did some real dumb ass things on my first film project. Let me know if you want laughing and falling out of your chair funny or stupid mistakes funny.
