Where's my 5D?!

Is it normal that Canon still hasn't filled orders that have been placed in early the beggining of Dec?

I payed in full at uniquephoto (they are my local camera store but still a pretty sizable online retailer). This was about the 1st of dec. I was told that I would be bumped to #8 on the body only line because I payed in full.

Has Canon really not produced enough body only packages in the past 2 months so that uniquephoto can't fill 8 orders!?

I thought I remember reading that most probably wouldn't ship until February??

I could be wrong, I know nothing (except that I'm thoroughly jealous)

Well... B&H says they're back-ordered, but it also states an estimated delivery time of 7-14 days.

If I paid nearly two months ago, I'd be pissed if I still didn't have it...
