Thanks Jim. I read on the Adobe boards that they are skipping the 4.0.2 update and waiting until NAB to release a 4.1.0 update.

They were demonstrating 4.1 at NAB, with native AVC-Intra support. They said 4.1 should be out in about a month.

Yeah I wish there was some confirmation about if the 24p fix is included with 4.1 all I read is RED this AVID that no word on fixes except faster start time when switching back to Premiere from another program or looks (annoying)

i have in my hand the hxp 300 and i bugs me not to be able to try avc intra shoots.

Intra support has been demonstrated, but not released. I'd say keep an eye on the IBC convention in September, it's a major video convention and as good a place as any for them to officially launch AVC-Intra support. But that's just a guess.
