The workflow I have been using latley has been capturing DV, editing in a DV proxy bringing my dv project into an uncompressed timeline for final rending of effects, titles etc.
What should I do for archiving? When I kept it DV is was simple, I put it back onto tape. Obviouslly now I would like to archive the 4:4:4 but thats 55GB for an hour correct? I don't find it neccessary to backup the project files themsleves since sometimes I export things out of after effects causing me to not be able to rebuild the prject from the tapes anyway.
What are others doing for archiving?
