avchd presets

I have already recorded video With my Canon hf100 AVCHD camcorder, which was shot in 24p mode at 17 Mbps and full 1920 x 1080.

I have noticed that Premiere Pro CS4 does not have a preset project setting for anything like this. There is a avchd preset for 60i but not 24p or 30p.
What should my settings be to import this footage?
Should I import at 60i and deinterlace?

Check again. There is a 1080p/24 preset. The only presets Premiere has is for 1080i/60, 1080p/24, and 1080p/25. When you go to AVCHD in the presets, there should be a 1080i and 1080p folder (I'm not at home so I'm going from memory on this). Under 1080p is the 24/25 presets. DO NOT choose the anamorphic variations.

However, you can easily do a custom preset for whatever framerate/resolution you have.

Make sure you've downloaded the latest update for CS4, I seem to remember that might have had something to do with it (but I could be wrong).
