Hi Everyone
I have had an issue recently with the HVX and a timelapse I have been shooting. The HVX was shooting for 2 days at 1 frame every 5 minutes. We went to the location to check on the camera. While there we decided to move the power supply to a more safe location. My college who was unaware that turning the power off at the wall without me first turning the power off on the camera went ahead and turned the power off. I have had issues with this in the past and was suddenly sweating heavily. Well my fears were for good reason as when I turned the camera back on the dredded un finalized clip sign was on the clip in playback mode. A yellow sign with 2 side by side triangles pointed at eachother.
Is there a way of retrieving the information. I think just over a minute of footage was captured and it would be a shame to have to loose that because of a silly mistake. We had a sony pd170 as a backup shooting tape and its fine.
If anyone has managed to recover footage lost in this way plz let me know the step by steps. Im using Final Cut atm but know my way arround most stuff * Geek *.
Thank you for your help. I look forward to some quick responses so I can prepare for the best or the worst.
Cheers
