Find a piece of white perspex. get a ruler and stencil set, draw all your lines, write all your names. admire, cover with piece of clear vinyl. if its a long shoot cover with 2 or 3 pieces. we do this for all our shoots onto a premade board so that the ink from the pens doesn't stain the perspex.

If you have an iPhone or similar Apple device- there are two handy slate/clappers:

Llama Slate & Pocket Clapper.

By 'handy' I mean it's in your pocket all the time- so you can mark heads and tails of shots easily.
I think they're inexpensive too- like .99¢ each.

Ok yea i have seen the ones at B&H just thought it would be nice to make it custom to your liking but yea I found a post on ho to make it.
I'm still wondering on which one still. BUY IT OR MAKE IT.
