Ok,the best part of cs4 is New media encoder, iloved it.But i have some problems PAR settings for my new footage.

I shot dvcpro 50 16:9 with hvx over fs-100. As far as i know fs-100 does not record par settings of camera, so you have to interprate the footage in premiere. But in new media encoder, what ever i do, i couldn't get thrue 16:9 QT movie.
My client want to take the footage in best quality of QT file.Codec stting are ok,uncomp or animation codec seems ok,but it always makes the frame 4:3 or squeezed 4:3,or letterboxed, whatever.Am i doing smthng wrong?I set the aspect as dc/Pal widescreen 16:9(cause i am in Pal region),even when i make square pixel,i can't get thrue 16:9 QT..HELP!!!

delvary to a client for final output should almost always be in square pixels so reguadles of the system the image is displayed corretly and the settings for widescreen square i think are like 576x1024 all that aside, QT doesn't see the PAR settings and reshape the image ive tested it and as far as the DV codec under a QT wrapper goes its like it doesn't exsit

In my experience, QT Player never reads PAR information correctly. Of course, I'm on a PC with regular ol' vanilla QT Player, not Pro. However, that hasn't prevented other QT-enabled applications from reading the PAR data correctly; they'll usually parse the file as they should. And, if they don't, most editing/effects apps give you the ability to modify the way PAR is interpreted once a file is imported.
