Hi
Just made a bad mistake and formatted my firestore before some data was copied to PC. Is there any chance to recover the material?? I have software for photorecovery but is there something for mxf files as well?

Got my formatting episode finished. Tech support from Focus Enhancements Company gave a hint to try Ontrack's Easy Recovery. It seems to have more choices for recovery than many other, it's also more expensive. It was the first program, which could at least name mxf-files right. I was able to recover only one file out of many. Without overrecording (about 20 gB out of 95 gB), I am pretty sure all could have been recovered. Also I was able to save all corrupted still images (jpg) from Flash Card, that I had not been able to do with other recovery software. So despite not so good results I still think it was worth spending 180 €.
