I'm trying to organize a shoot with my friends this weekend and will be using the hmc. It's an outdoors thing, and it will most likely be pretty cold.

Would it be safe to use the hmc outdoors? The shoot would be no more than 2 hours.

Considering using my hv20 instead of risking the shiny new Pana

If by search search read read you mean use the search bar well I did that and found some information but I wanted to ask this specifically of the HMC150 USERS which is why I posted this.

Any suggestions on aclimating hte camera?

Thomas it will be more a case of battery time than camera issues. I have been shooting with mine up here in Canda and the only thing I have is the same kata rain cover I use wwith my DVX. I will be buying a second battery this coming weekend. It last a long time indooors ...amazing actually but once it gets cold...and it can get cold here it drains very fast.
for what its worth..

Can I ask where/how much/would you recommend your rain cover...I'm on the "wetcoast" and I need to find a good rain cover solution.

thanks
