Can't get a signal throgh S-video

Hi,

I have a HVX200E and I use a JVC broadcast monitor at the time. I wonder why I don't get a signal to the monitor with connecting the S-video to the cameras s-video port? The manual says it should work...

Can the camera port been damaged and don't work? or is there any settings in the camera menu that allow S-video when shooting HD?

I'm asking since I have searched and read that s-video should work when shooting HD. But since I can't get an signal, what can be the problem?

Edit:
Any clues? I try to change to 576i in the AV out menu, but without any change.
