This is a quick comp reel thrown together from a trip to Gwaii Haanas National Park and Haida Heritage Site.
Fairly demanding conditions.

That's really nice. How much color tweakage did you have to do?

We haven't done anything to the footage. It's all straight out of the camera. We just threw some stuff together to show our partner some of the footage we had.

Was this shot on the HPX-500? I'd love to know the settings. Also , how did you compress it for Vimeo? It looks good big and there's no skipping!
I have a film which I shot on the HPX-500 at 720 24p. I would like to post it on Vimeo.
Any suggestions about settings?
Thanks,
Ed

We used pretty standard settings. Pretty much the cine_v preset and I think maybe +2 on color balance. I'm trying to remember. All footage is shot at 1080p30 or 720p24 overcranked.
As far as vimeo goes, we're using our standard wmv display settings. We use episode to compress. We resize to 720 for display and use 2-pass vbr constrained at peak 13000 kbit/s and average 10000 kbit/s, natural and foced keyframes, distance 4 seconds. We use wmv for everything because that is what our display system handles best.
