I've certainly had a good time playing with my EX3 over the last few months - love the picture quality. The biggest drawback to the camera was, in my opinion, that it wasn't quite a shoulder-mount while not being quite a handheld. Too big and too small at the same time!

Jeff at DM Accessories (http://shop.dm-accessories.com/collections/ex3-products) does great fabrication work and has produced a real nice baseplate/shoulder mount to remedy this and a lot of other issues. My favorite part of it is the hinged portion on which I mount an AB battery - shifting the weight of the camera back and making it much easier to hold while extending battery life to about six hours!

Olof has an EX3 shoulder mount too:

With his you have to get the base plate for $150 then the shoulder brace for $75.

Isn't it great when we actually have choices!
