I just ordered a set and I can't wait to get my hands on it. However I wish for the longest time I could buy pocket wizards but eh...I sat for 4 days trying to make a decision on whether i was gonna buy these but I am happy.
I will post some pics on here when I get them. I can't wait.
Anyone have a set?
You can get them here:

I paid $140 for transmitter and batter powered receiver. Not bad.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Cyber Syncs. The same performance as pocket wizards, with slightly less range. I've also been keeping my eye on the new Radio Popper Jrx, $99 for the transmitter and receiver. I'll be getting one of these kits in the next few weeks.
Let us know what you think of them, but I'm willing to bet you'll be quite pleased.

the receivers have no on or off button so it takes an hour of no use for it to turn off.....kinda sucks. I just take out the batteries when I pack it up.
When you first get the transmitter and try to attach it to the hotshoe on your camera, its REALLY tight. Or at least it was for me on my Nikon. Over time it loosens a bit and works good.
Other than that....perfect. Glad I saved $$$ by not going Pocket wizards.

I did take a look at the Radio Poppers after you posted link. Is that the price for both receiver and transmitter. Cause that is a deal if it works like they say it does.
However, I am happy with my purchase and it seems to me as if it will have the same price if say for instance one of them broke.
I did order a Hotshoe to PC connector for my SB-600 for FlashZebra.com and now I have to start hunting for an alternative flash and then purchase another receiver for $70. I cant wait!

The Popper Jrx basic kit (receiver and transmitter) will be $99. An additonal receiver is $59. But these won't be available until the end of February. I still might get the cyber syncs. I can't think of when I'd need to fire my flash from 1700 feet away. I need to order the hot shoe adapter from flashzebra, and the $99 2 stands and umbrellas kit from B & H.
Why can't I have a cheap hobby like whistling or thumb wrestling.

Ha ha Sack. Yeah our hobby's definitely are prolly one of the more expensive hobbies. Especially for the techies like you and I. I am actually finding away to justify buying another receiver which is about 78 with Shipping and Handling and a SunPak Flash. Bleh there goes another 150?!

Nikon D200 1/80
Nikon 50mm @ F 5.6

That's what I like to hear. I guess the only way the flash won't fire is if you shoot faster than the recycle rate of the flash.
I'm looking forward to some 2 flash shots in the future. I think I'll be right behind you.

Adam, your able to wirelessly fire your SB model flashes with the Cyber sync right? Wasn't sure if they only worked with other brands of strobes/flashes.

How are you guys hanging the cybersyncs, since there isn't anyplace for a lanyard?

I am using the SB-600 with a Hotshoe to PC adapter. They work with all brands, you just have to have the right cord. I am purchasing a Sunpak 522 as a second flash and I have to order a cable for that.

My dad brought me home some of these velcro type things made by 3M called Dual Lock (its quite like velcro but instead of the furry stuff it is plastic that interlocs the two, it is very very reliable and suggest that you get some) and I just mount them to the flash or tripod that I am using. And to tell you the truth. If I was using PW's, I would probably be doing the same thing, mounting them up on the flash.

Just bought a Sunpak 522 Thyristor Flash for my second flash.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Bought it for $95 w/ shipping. Amazing price because one of those battery packs by itself are $38 plus shipping on eBay and B&H. The flash usually sells around $50!
