Hi,

I was wondering how to best utilize the 2d3 steadymove plugin? (settings, etc).

I tried to stabilize a few pan buy walking shots I tested and it didn't seem to work? The rendered video just jittered incredibly annoyingly and the letterbox on the dvx100 footage just bounced around and the inside footage didn't stabilize the way the examples appear on the 2d3 website. Is it because I shot on 24p with a shutter of 1/24?

I adjusted the max correction and smoothness settings in different combinations from 0-100 and rendered many times but it didn't stabilize my footage. What am I doing wrong and what are the stabilizing limitations? I am only walking by a few plants from a low angle in my backyard.

Thanks,

Norm

i find that what u should do is grab your clip...de-interlace, remove flicker, render and then add 2d3...smooth itout to 100percent and render...once your done, export your clip as a movie and bring it back into your timeline...the clip should be purple with little gray tabs at the corner....now you can slow it down and add filters or color-correction...i'm using iton my short film and it work like a beauty
