Hello from Spain, In the last few days I have been looking for the better option to get memory cards for my EX1. For my new project a need about 70-80 Gb, so it's a lot of money. I considered MxS cards from Australia, but finally I have found a web site from UK (http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/publi...?w=1&q=SxS+Pro (http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/public/search.php?w=1&q=SxS+Pro)) where the 8Gb SxS original from Sony costs 117€, if you buy ten cards. Now I have 80 Gb of SxS storage from 1170€ (+42€ shipment). Considering that a 16Gb is marketed at 507€ I think it's a good deal.

They must be clearing stock, all the larger capacity cards are still very expensive.

My order has been shipped today, this site works very well and there is no problem with tha aviability of the original SxS 8g cards from Sony.

Creative are a good company. I have been to their premises in Studley and its quite impressive. I will be speaking to them tomorrow because I sadly sold my lovely EX1 today and am getting an ex3 in the next couple of weeks.

That is a very good price but for normal recording, I would still go with a KxS card that cost about $250 for 80GB (one 16GB card cost $50).

If the funds are available and the cost is worth it to someone. By all means go with SxS cards. Remember the KxS and other options are just that..... Options

I know that KxS option has no comparison per Gb price. But I think the SxS are more reliable than cards that are not designed for video purpose specifically. Maybe I'm wrong but my next project will be at Libano and the last thing that I want is to have problems with my recording media at location.
