A client wants me to use his mpeg4 footage. Will my premiere pro 1.5 in xp be able to do this?
I do not want to tell this dude I can do it and then I really can't.
Thanks,
Will

Native No, but with the correct codec yes, although the performace and overally edit experenice is sometimes not great, id transcode first, esp if the client will be present, you want it running nice and smooth for your cut, ps ask your client more specifify what type of MPEG4 is it? what is its origin? What are the file extentions, MPEG4 is a container and could house different codecs,
also get the update from adobe for prem 1.5.1 it won't make it native but will stable up 1.5
