I am having a terrible time with Premier 6.5. When making music videos I drag the audio ttrack to the timeline in the track I want and sometimes during playback a skip will occur in the song. The recording does not have this. It is frustrating because it causes my sync to be off. It usually happens during export to videotape. There must be reason this is going on. Anyone know ? Thanks.

what speed is your machine? your pc.. it could possibly be too slow.. if your exporting to tape, try disabling desktop playback when your exporting, that will leave more processing powaz for the export. if that dont work you could try adding ram to your pc . then i would get a faster pc. but if this is not the issue, then well have to look at other possibilities

Try rendering your audio only... Thats wat i do... makes it smooth during playback!

You have to change your audio settings... i think the default is 5 tracks before rendering.. change it to 1 track then render audio.

Premiere 6.5 does not like mp3 audio files inside the time-line.
If this is the case convert it to wav.
