Hi,
I have read through Barry Green's P2 Scene File Hack for More Framerate options, and started to think if a hack could enable 60p for PAL cameras.
In other words, if you would make a Scene File that would shoot at 60 FPS, then the line should look like this:
0000500F: 35 ; FRAME RATE: DEFAULT
But would it work for the PAL system, or has the framerate to do with processor power or something else?
One starts to think what would happen if you made a Scene File:
0000500F: 40 ; FRAME RATE: DEFAULT
Would it cause errors with a limit at 50/60p, or could you trim the cam to allow 70-80p?
But the most important question is, do you think a hack for PAL system would allow 60p? since its used in NTSC.
Best,
David
